Managing the hardware that powers your digital signage is just as important as managing your digital signage content. As such, we believe that it should be just as easy to take an action remotely on the devices powering your screens as it is to update your content.
While many other Remote Device Management (RDM) solutions may require you to jump through hoops in order to manage your devices, such as starting a remote session or having to dig through a device’s system settings to make updates,. With ScreenCloud, you can rely on our close integration of software and hardware to easily use RDM features from right inside Studio, enabling you to take actions remotely on your devices with the click of a button.
Over the past year, we’ve been working hard not only to bring more RDM features to our operating system, ScreenCloud OS, but also to make these features available on each of the operating systems and platforms we support.
And now we’re excited to announce that we’ve updated the interface in Studio to help you get the most out of these RDM features, as well as gain more visibility into the health and stability of your digital signage devices with additional device information.
What's new?
Our updated interface in Studio is designed to make it easier for you to use our RDM features, as well as to highlight key device information, so you can get an idea about the health and stability of your digital signage devices.
We've introduced a new pop-up modal window, consolidating all RDM features and device information, along with a refreshed appearance for device details on a screen's page. This modal window is also accessible through Screens Manager.
To access the pop-up modal window from a screen’s page you can either select the screen’s device icon or the “See Complete Information” button at the bottom of the screen’s device information. To access it in Screens Manager either select the screen’s device icon or the screen’s name.

What RDM features and device information are now available in Studio?
Since launching our RDM Console in May of last year to help you manage your ScreenCloud OS devices, it’s been our goal to bring our RDM features and device information to all the different hardware we support. We’ve released numerous ScreenCloud OS and player app updates in order to do this, and we are happy to say that as of this month we now support key RDM features and device information cross-platform.

What’s coming next?
We’re working to make all the remaining RDM features and device information for ScreenCloud OS devices that are currently only available in the RDM Console available in Studio and Screens Manager.
We’re also working on improvements for Screens Manager, and look forward to transforming it into an even more powerful tool for managing your screens and the hardware that powers them.
There are also lots of new RDM features on the way, so stay tuned for updates from us throughout the year.
